What a clone does

A clone takes an existing video and replaces the people in it with your characters, from their photos. The moves, the rhythm, the camera, the setting and the sound stay those of the original video. The people you don't replace stay as they are.

1. Send the video

  1. Open Create, then paste a TikTok link or upload a video.
  2. A TikTok link: the link of the video (short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links work too). An upload: an MP4 or MOV video of 3 to 60 seconds (30 seconds at most with Starter or with credit packs alone).
  3. Tick I have the right to use this video, then continue.

2. The preparation

ezcrea downloads the video, analyses it, finds the people in it and cuts them out. It takes from a few moments to a few minutes depending on its length, and it carries on even if you close the app.

If this video was already prepared (the same TikTok link, or exactly the same file), it's instant: you go straight to your characters. Your photos and your creations stay private: nobody else sees them.

3. Add your characters

  • Each person found in the video appears on a card. Add a photo for the ones you want to replace, up to 4.
  • A sharp, well-lit photo, with the character alone, fully visible and facing the camera.
  • Framing close to the video's: full body for a full-body dance, half body for a talking-to-camera video.
  • Only use photos of yourself or of people who agree.

4. Quality, format and price

  • Quality: 720p or 1080p. The video's original quality is marked.
  • Format: the original one, or reframed in 9:16 (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) or 16:9.
  • The price in credits, the length and the expected wait are shown before you create. Then create the video.

Long videos

A video can last up to 60 seconds with Pro and Ultra, and up to 30 seconds with Starter or with credit packs alone. Beyond 15 seconds, it's made in several parts of up to 15 seconds, cut on a scene change when possible, then joined automatically under the original sound. Before you create, you see how many parts it will be made in.

My videos

  • Your video arrives in My videos, with its progress while it's being made.
  • Once it's ready, watch it, download it or delete it.
  • A video can't be deleted while it's being made: wait until it's finished.
  • If a video fails, its credits are refunded automatically.
